Ellie shearer
Ellie is a professional jazz player and one of Australia’s top Lead trombone players. She complete a Bachelor of Music (Performance) from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music where she studied under many of Australia’s leading musicians including Dave Panichi, James Greening, Scott Kinmont, James Muller, Craig Scott, and Judy Bailey,
Ellie is an active member of the Sydney music scene, regularly performing and touring with many incredible artists including the Australian Nation Jazz Orchestra (ANJO), the Jazzgroove Mothership Orchestra, Dave Panichi’s Big Band, and many others.
In addition, Ellie has performed on major television shows and also works as a session musician having recorded with a variety of Australian artist including John Farnham, Olivia Newton-John, and many more.
Ellie finished off 2019 on Hugh Jackman’s ‘The Man The Music The Show’ Australian tour and has started of the new year in the UK where she plans to extend her career and passion for music.
